Brain Cell

Brain Cell is a edition of 7 wire-edge bound books digitally, 3D and letterpress printed using MRI scans and EEG data from the artist.
Each of the 12 leaves contains a cross-section of a brain 3D printed on mesh taken from MRI scans so that when closed there is a full, continuous brain model.
The neurons and neurotransmitters were custom modeled and letterpress printed with 3D printed matrices.
