Brass wire wall art

Another iteration of exploring lines and grids, this brass wire construction through a piece of walnut was one that popped in my head that I could not shake until I made it.

In the 4th grade my class did monthly themed “string art” project with thread and patterns through construction paper which undoubtedly inspired this project a decade and a half later.
